Agreed. Although Dropbox is still the dominant product in the space (source), their share is getting eaten, particularly with enterprises. They bought layer vault a couple years ago with the distinct goal of improving their versioning system.

I also think they’ve done well with features like SmartSync which lets you have searchable files indexed on your machine without them actually being stored.
