I totally agree with you. I think your description of a good PM is pretty spot on. Another article could cover the different flavors of PM’s as well. Some are more oriented towards highly technical teams (dev teams working on legacy product areas), others more towards the marketing end, and then others that are closer to design and user research.

I’ve been advocating this role more to my university because I think there are people that are best suited for it but don’t realize it.
