Thanks, Shawn. I think you bring up an excellent point that others can be flattered to even be asked. I sure would be flattered if a developer asked for my opinion! This is a good reminder for designers to be careful not to become arrogant because while other team members may look at you as an expert, they want, and can, provide useful input.
