There are two places I’ve seen the new visuals creep in:

• The iOS icon
• The context menu when clicking on a synced file on your machine

Nothing on dropbox.com for active users changed; which constitutes probably 99% of the visual real estate and time you’d engage with Dropbox. Saying the new visuals impact an existing user is a gross mischaracterization.
