Yep I totally agree. I wasn’t sure which perspective to write about on this one because of what you brought up. I went with the, “don’t quit too soon” because I feel anecdotally that is what I see happening more. But I could be wrong there. I have also noticed a lot of designers that start on this path tend to stay on it. I also tend to believe young designers are more impressionable and haven’t established goals in the beginning, so they just start looking when it gets hard rather than focusing what they want out of a job. I guess another article is needed on this one….ha.
